It is fitting that we were able to check out the second largest deer for J.W. Corbett W.M.A on our last evening here. It was the largest deer for South Check Station. It also had the biggest rack (points).Here in the east, the hunters count both sides of the rack, so this was called a 12 point (it would have been a 6 by 6 in the west). These were some very proud hunters.
