It was a success. Sarah loved it and loved Lee for surprising her with dinner.
Turkey Pot Pie...
2 sheets of frozen puff pastry dough
1 small onion, chopped
1 pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, thawed and drained
1 lb. deli turkey, cubed
8 oz. softened cream cheese
butter and salt and pepper to taste
Spread cream cheese on a sheet of puff pastry, sprinkle chopped onion and turkey on cream cheese, top with broccoli, then add several pats of butter and salt and pepper to taste.
Cover with 2nd sheet of puff pastry. Pinch edges closed and cut slits on top. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes or until golden brown.
It was delicious. Sarah and Lee are in a food coma now. So glad they are keeping a family tradition going!

How I wish my husband would eat broccoli! I would love this. Anything with cream cheeese has to be good. And I know I would like the puff pastry much better than regular pie crust.
