We are excited about our first grandchild. Our beautiful daughter is due to have a son around April 6, 2011. I have been having fun making tied quilts, knitted and crocheted baby blankets and hats. Check out my latest. Hope baby likes it!
This is a baby hat called a jester hat. It has four corners on the rounded top with little tassels attached. It was fun to make, but I just can't imagine baby being very interested in it, especially in sunny Phoenix.

Congratulations on your First grandbaby! Your blanket is just precious, and I'm sure will be much loved! The hat is cute - and at least good for a photo op, if its really too warm ;-)
