String of Pearls
On my Birthday Trip in May I snagged some String of Pearls cuttings from the tall parents, Ann & Wes Rook. I remember having this plant in a ubiquitous macrame plant hanger in the early days of our marriage, the 70's. I was thrilled to see this plant and to score some free cuttings. I'm nursing them along, unlike my daughter, my thumb is brown, not green!
But they appear to be surviving and possibly thriving. All I know is they like it wet and well drained.

Childhood Humor
I can remember being so annoyed when my siblings or the annoying neighborhood kid would taunt me by repeating everything I would say. I remember listening to my kids in their bedroom or the car or the dinner table doing the same thing. Drove me nuts! But I miss it! Sad, but I do! Such a simpler time.
I have discovered you can recreate that special memory by simply texting yourself! Ahhhh! Good times.
