Fun Day Friday

I’ve been waiting for this trip cuz I love, love, love Kayla R. at  Posh Salon. She does a great job cutting my hair and her shampoos are so relaxing. 

That evening Steve made us smoked salmon 🍣 on his smoker BBQ. Wow, it was delicious.

We met Tim & Stacy when they replaced us as camp hosts at Prairie Creek State Park this spring and we moved out to Stone Lagoon.  It was fun hanging out with them this summer and when they moved to Oklahoma a few weeks ago, we were excited to be able to see them on this trip.  We had a great dinner last night  with them. Today was a fun day visiting Camping World and the Bass Pro Shop.  We had been looking for a large town to hit those two stores to pick up a few things for our RV. It worked out perfectly. We tried Oklahoma BBQ, fried catfish and fried okra for linner (lunch and dinner).  Then back to the trailer for naps and then a fun evening trying homemade beer and wine from some California co-workers and eating snacks.  We had a great time with our Oklahoma hosts. Thank you and we are looking forward to visiting them again

It is the Fourth!

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY! Today will be a quiet evening at home with some BBQ corn (wrapped in bacon), hamburgers, meat kabobs and Laton's famous baked beans. I can feel my arteries hardening at the visualization of all this. LOL. Tim and Stacy (maintenance hosts at Patrick's Point) will join us for dinner. They are the expert corn roasters and are going to teach us the technique. Wishing everyone a safe and happy holiday.
