The first sign!

There is a runaway truck ramp between Klamath, CA and Orick, CA on the southbound US-101 that makes Laton & I laugh out loud every time we drive by...check out my pictures!

At the end of the ramp, on the other side of those barrels, in the picture, is a cliff, a really big cliff.  I sure hope the ramp stops you before you reach those barrels!

Scrapbooking!

I had a wonderful evening with my friend, Carlene, and sister, Carolyn, scrap booking. I didn't get a lot done because I was too busy chatting (my usual cropping modus operandi)! Carolyn and her husband just finished a wonderful trip to Glacier. She took great pictures and she tried a new format called Mosaics. It turned out wonderfully.

This is our new theme song. We are getting ready to head over to Florida to go to work for the Florida Fish and Game manning a hunter check station at the J. W. Corbett Wildlife Management Area. We will be there the end of August until the middle of April. We are excited to be traveling cross country again and spending some time exploring in another new area!

We haven't had the pleasure but several people have seen a little black cub bear wandering around in our area. We are pretty sure there is a mama around somewhere.  We hope we get to see it.

40 Years but who is Counting?

Not me! We attended my 40th High School Class Reunion tonight and it was fun.  Everyone looked great but I still had to peer at the name tags because I am good with faces but not so good with names.  I know I KNOW YOU but have no clue what to CALL you!
